Topic:   % markup on cost price

How do you markup the individual parts cost price by a % so the total cost in a assembly can be calculated with different markups for different parts. I don't want to markup all the parts in the entire assembly at the same percentage. I have higher markup’s on certain items and less on others.
Most software I have looked at have cost + % and then use the marked up price to calculated the assembly cost. Then the assembly also has a cost + % so you can markup the total assembly again.
Basically as you have it but the “Sell At” price is calculated by adding the markup %
This way when a supplier has a price increase you just change the suppliers price on that item and every assembly with that item is increased. At the moment you have to go and adjust all the “Sell At” values for every assembly. Very time consuming and opens the door to errors in the selling price.

I don't think anyone ever asked for that before.

I'm sorry. MiniMRP doesn't do that. It tells you the actual cost to build. But it's up to you to decide on your selling price.
