Topic:   Loading a BOM from CSV file

I am attempting to load assembly BOMS and I get an message that all the parts on the BOM are not in the database. I have checked and all parts are in the database. How can I determine what part it is referring to as every line item has the error message? What am I missing?

You need to also look at the 'revision' column.

If the item exists in the database but has a revision but you don't include the revision column from the CSV then MiniMRP assumes the items are different.

If the item really does not exist then MiniMRP will import the item/create a new item.

Maybe make a back up of your database. Then load the BOM from CSV and look at your inventory to see what new items, if any were created. You can then restore the backup to get back to how it was before the import if necessary
