Topic:   Manual Pick List

Is there anyway to generate a manual pick list?

If not, is this something that could be added?

I would like it to work where you start a pick list and then click a button to add components to the list from the normal "All Components" inventory list.

This 'Pick List' would then show columns for "qty on hand" and "bin" (or configurable columns) on screen.

From there you could easily change either:
a) any lines with lower than the desired quantity to the actual amount on hand
or
b) delete any lines from the pick list where there is no inventory via the normal system of clicking on the little arrows at the left and selecting 'delete line'

This would be somewhat of a workaround to not need to use the full workflow system, but still have some decent usability. Right now the system seems a bit lacking if you aren't going to enter every customer order into this system. Entering all my customer orders would end up creating more work than my desired use of just using this as a system for assemblies (not even close to the majority of our sales) and inventory.

Would love any feedback on these ideas or a little kick in the pants if I have missed something similar already in place!

Thanks!

Guess I would also want an editable column for "Items to Remove" in that desired "Pick List"

So perhaps something like this:

PartNumber Revision Bin Qty On Hand Qty to ship/remove/etc.

maybe other columns as well: description, other p/n, etc. (this is ideally where custom configuration of columns would be handy)

That last post seemed to delete some spacing I had between columns, they were:
PartNumber
Revision
Bin
Qty On Hand
Qty to ship/remove/etc. (this would be the column to type in amount you want to remove from inv.)

Leo. In your first post you mentioned that you didn't want to enter customer orders into the system.

Did you notice in the menu "Work Orders" that you can create a work order without creating a customer order.

But that is still a fixed partslist/bom of an assembly and not just a 'manual' selection of components so that probably won't do what you want.

I kind of understand what you're asking for but in over 20 years you're the first person to ever ask for anything like that.

So. all I can do is to put it into the 'suggestion box'.
