I cannot find any way to add parts to an existing works order. Please advise if I am incorrect.
Occasionally when building a batch of sub assemblies, one or two of the component parts used are faulty or damaged by the operator. I would like to be able to add the replacement parts to the works order and thus issue them from OnHand Stock.
The value of the additional parts should then be added to the total cost for the batch of finished sub assemblies. This would then affect the Average or Latest cost for each sub assembly, and then through to the final assembly, depending on the setting in your future enhancement mentioned in the Custom Changes thread.

Sorry. It's not possible to add more components to an existing work order.
You can issue items from your inventory and enter a reference number so the transaction appears in component history but these extra items don't get added to the work order or change the build cost of assemblies.
