I have been using minimrp4.2 in my laptop since 2017, can i transfer the license from laptop to my desktop now.

Yes you can.
Just use the same key on the new computer.
When you use the key on the new computer you may see a message saying the code has been used before.
On the assumption that the key is no longer being used no conflict will occur and you can ignore the message and continue to use the key on the new computer.
