I was trying to figure out why minimrp was showing negative balance for a part i new i had on hand.When i looked at the history on the part i noticed that i had kitted and de-kiited an assembly that used the part in question. Based on what i see when the assembly was de-kitted the qty of material returned is not what was issued. Here is the sequence i see:
RX 393
BAL 393
issue 111.25
BAL 281.75
dekitt 111.25
BAL 118
issue 111.25
BAL 6.75
Is there something i am missing? When dekitted the material was not return to inventory????

I'm sure you're not missing anything. It looks like you're doing everything correctly but the software isn't doing what you expect.
Nobody else has reported this before - I'll see if I can reproduce this problem. Is the item in question a pure component or a sub assembly?
What version of the software do you have?
