Do you have instructions on how to access the sql tables for data retrieval only ,, get data from excel does not seem to connect to the sql database ...

I assume that you mean that you have the MiniMRP data in an SQL Server Database and you have Excel and you want to connect excel to the data in SQL Server.
Excel's 'Get Data' (Get and Transform data) should be able to read data from SQL Server.
But excel obviously needs the user credentials to connect the the SQL Server database.
MiniMRP doesn't store the data in any secret way. If your excel can't connect to your data then that's an Excel/SQL problem, not a minimrp problem.
