When I import a CSV file into an assembly the items are all out of order. Why is there a position and item column?

Why is it ordering everything by part number. It should order by how it it imported. Oddly enough it does show this correctly during import but resorts everything by part number when inserted into the database.

The default is to sort by Part Number.
But, using the assembly editor click the yellow 'Lock' button to unlock and click the [>] button on any item and the item can be moved up or down the list.

As explained in the previous post, the default is to sort by Part Number and the user can then use the parts List Editor to move items up and down within the list.
But (original poster) we hear what you said. Thank you for the 'heads up'. The next version (v5) will default to the order in which the items are imported from the CSV.

Thanks. Maintaining the same item order as in the CSV file will same us some time when importing BOMs.
