I just switched to V5. and it appears unlike V4 you cannot change an "OrderID" even if it was auto generated. I have always matched the OrderId to my eCommerce OrderID. These number are not sequential for several reasons. How do I now have to do this to have the ability to change the OrderID in minimrp?

OrderID in Customer Order is always autogenerated. You were never able to change that in the customer order. If your version allowed that then it was a bug in your version. I just tested version 4.2.88 and it didn't allow me to change it. What version v4 were you using?

4.2.87 does allow you to change the OrderID during the order entry process. Create new customer order select a customer and the order window shows up with an OrderID, you can change it. For me not a bug it was a feature that fit my needs perfectly.
Based on your response I will need to change how I have do this going forward. Not happy

I'm very sorry - you are correct. With that information (changing the OrderID during the creation of the order) I was able to reproduce that behaviour in v4.2.88
I've now escalated this to be fixed (ie give same behaviour) in v5
It'll be in the next update in a couple of days.

Sorry. Easter break caused a bit of a delay with this next update. Hopefully early May.
