When I deliver a product requested by a customer order (“Deliver” function), I have no way to indicate my transport document number as a reference.
A similar function, however, already exists for the entry of materials into the warehouse (“Goods in” function).

When doing the 'Delivery' function to Ship something to a customer there's a 'Comments' box in the lower left corner of the window. Doesn't that work for you?
