Is it possible to edit the parts list in Excel and import it without duplicating rows? I cannot find any information.

Yes. You can import data from excel.
In excel you need to 'SaveAs' and select 'CSV'.
Then. in MiniMRP you can import the CSV. Any parts that already exist in Mminimrp won't be duplicated.
The one thing you need to be careful about is the 'revision'. So, if you have parts in minimrp with revision numbers and you import a CSV that does not contain revision numbers then the parts will be duplicated - because the revisions are different.
Obviously the same would apply if in minimrp you did not have revisions but your csv did contain revision numbers then, as far as minimrp is concerned, they are different parts.
So there's no reqson why you can't export from minimrp to csv, edit that csv in excel and import back into minimrp.
Just make a backup before importing so if you didn't do it write you can restore the backup and try again.
