i cant delete locations for some reason. when i press delete and yes nothing happens. am i doing this wrong?

When you say 'Locations' I assume you mean site addresses?
When looking at the 'Own Locations' window how many location/address cards do you see? Just to the upper right corder of an address car you see a small button with 3 horizontal bars. Click that to see the option to delete that site. Is that what you're trying to do? Or have a misunderstood the question?

I have 7 locations but I have stopped using all but the first 3. None of them have any stock or open orders.
I go into Setup/Tools > Own Location(s), then I press the button with the three horizontal lines, click "Delete this location" and then "Yes", but nothing happens.

I still can't delete them. I assume this is because there's history of stock movement in there, but I don't need that information as it was only used to briefly separate the stock while we organised things. Is there no way to delete them now?
