Downloaded demo. Did not see ability to find a multi-level where used case of a part number. Looking for a solution to find a part number ( with limited information, maybe part class code, key word, vendor )and then find where it is used all the way to the top level assy use case.

There's a "Used In" that shows you which sub assemblies/assemblies an item is used in.
All Components to get the list of items. Then use the filter/search on any column to find the item (filter using any text/partial text in any column)
When you find the item double click it to get the item detail window. See the 'Used In' tab.
That gets you the assemblies where the component is used. But it's not multi-level so just the component's direct parents. Not all the way to the top level.
