Topic: Multiple manufacturer's part numbers and BOMs

Could the process MRP uses to populate the dbo.itemsupplier's "MfrPNo" column that (I presume) is shown on the Assembly Editor screen and BOM CSV export be shared?
In ItemDetail screen, a part can have the same manufacturer listed more than once. We use this to track a manufacturer's old and new Supplier PartNo's. Here is a simple example: In the ItemDetail screen...
DefaultSupplier Company x Supplier PartNo
(checked) McMaster-Carr MFR 91780A162
(unchecked) McMaster-Carr MFR 91780A720 (OBSOLETE)
...but the Assembly Editor and BOM CSV file both report the obsolete part.
I've testing the following ideas but I can't find a pattern for how dbo.itemsupplier's "MfrPNo" column is populated:
1. The order in which each Supplier record was added to the ItemDetail screen (noted by the dbo.tblstockitems's AutoID field).
2. Unchecking/saving/re-checking/saving Default Supplier selection.
I'm not asking for a change to MiniMRP but only for information to help us develop internal procedures such that the Assembly Editor screen and BOM CSV export not show obsolete manufacturer's part numbers.

Ken. That's strange. There should only be one row with the "MFR" set.
If you have two rows set then it looks like a glitch that's showing MFR by any row that contains that exact company name. We need to fix that.
In the meantime, to confirm my understanding of the problem, please email a screenshot of the Item detail window.
Thanks
