I'm trying to import a multi-level assembly using CSV but I keep getting the error
"The Parts List could not be created
Non-negative number required
Parameter name: index"
I have no clue what it's talking about as there are no "negative" values in any of my columns.

Hello,
I figured it out. It was due to the level number format. I had to create an arbitrary multi-level assembly and export it to figure it out though. It is not mentioned in the user manual that I can find.
I see now that MiniMRP uses:
1
... 2
... ... 3
etc.
Where as I was trying to import it using Solidworks native of:
1
1.1
1.1.1
etc.
So since I figured it out, I guess this can be an answer to anyone else who runs into this problem.

I am having the same situation. I am trying to import a multi-level assembly wit up to 9 levels and try to use the format recommended by the guest:
1
... 2
... ... 3
etc.
But still getitng the same error
"The Parts list could not be created, non- negative numbers required
Parameter Index"
Please let me know how to fix it.

Non-negative numbers.
I think you also contacted us by email and sent your CSV to our support. In the middle of your CSV (row 689) there's a bad row of data without part number or level. That breaks the CSV at that point which causes the microsoft database driver to display that unhelpful error message.
Also in your CSV near row 2040 there's more broken rows with invalid level numbers (levels missing)
Fix those faults and the CSV imports correctly.
However. With all that in mind we're going to update MiniMRP to indentify those errors before attempting to import. It can't fix the errors automatically because the data is broken. But it will tell you what row numbers you need to look at to fix your CVS. In the meantime though if you fix the errors I mentioned above your CSV will import.
