There is so much to like about this program but having to start a PO in order to put an item on order seems a little complicated. You then have to go through the list of components to select what you want. It would be nice to just click on the component and order it...put it on an open PO or start a new PO. This is the only issue I see that is keeping me from ordering MiniMRP immediately.

I'm not sure why you say it's complicated. You have to open/view the PO anyway. So starting the PO and then clicking the button to add items brings up a component list of items from that supplier.
Your idea of selecting the items first and then opening a PO would be the same or similar number of clicks I think.

If you have thousands of parts going through the list is a little more difficult than just clicking "add to PO" if you already have an open PO or "start a new PO" option.
