I am trialling MiniMRP4. Well done for a lite version of MRPII!
I need to be able to create an inventory item as a sub-assembly that is partially consumed by a work order.
For example, I have created a solvent, alcohol, that is supplied in Litres, but is consumed in mL.
Is there a way to create this and correctly consume it?

If you want to receive from the supplier in litres but in your inventory and in your BOMs you want to show number of mL then you need to take a look at the supplier UOM. (Item detail supplier tab) in there you can create a supplier UOM of LITRE and qty per UOM of 1000.
So, when you receive 1 litre from the supplier it will increase your inventory by the number of mL and your BOMs can consume mL
