When entering new items into a purchase order I often get the error "One or more new items could not be inserted into the database". It would be super helpful if the faulty lines could be identified so I don't have to guestimate what lines to change.

When you get that message what happens if you wait a moment and try saving again without making any changes to the order.

Same thing. But I narrowed it down to a line where I had mistakenly entered a new product that was already in the database. This was on a PO with some 60 lines so it took me a while to find the problem. It would have been great if the program had told me what line was problematic and what the fault was.

Yes. If a NEW item on the PO already exists then it can't add it again. But it shouldn't show an unhelpful message.
