we use version 3.7 and the item list export to excell doesn't include the selling price in the report. Is there a way to do this in 3.7? If not is there a way to do this in the newest version of the software?

Yes. Version 4.2 can display the 'sell-at' price in the inventory list and can export that list to csv.
