Is it possible to only run the v5 on 1 machine, while the others continue on v4?

v5 users and v4 users can not share the same database. The databases are different.
If you want all users to share the same data then all users must upgrade to v5.
But if you just want one user to test v5 for a while without touching your live v4 data then that's no problem. To do that you can make a backup using v4 and then restore that backup into v5.
You can then test v5 while continuing to use v4 for your real/live work.
