I have two distinct "locations" set up in mini so that I can segregate parts, purchase orders, and work orders for a particular customer/project. I noticed that the shortage forecast for Site A is pulling purchase order information from site B. Is this is how it is intended to work? I thought that the shortage forecast was only pulling data from within the location. Basically, the issue I am having now is it is recognizing an order for a different project that cannot be used within the current site. The part is located in both sites, so I can see where the confusion is occurring. It does not show the part as on order in the inventory tab or the work order itself.

It's not a bug. But you are correct. It would make more sense if the shortage forecast for Site A only used work orders and purchase orders for Site A.
I'll have this looked at soon.

Good morning. I wanted to follow up on this. Has there been any action to show that one site only uses data (purchase orders, etc.) from their own site? If there are orders going to multiple warehouses in different locations that cannot be easily transferred we would need to know that there is NOT an open order for the part to that location. I believe it also will end up that we could be short in both locations for parts because it is counting that PO in both places but not each work order. Thanks!

This has now been done.
If you download over the weekend/monday next week it should be fixed.
