Types of Assembly

In pervious version 3 of miniMrp all assemblies belonged to a single category. Category "AS". The category 'was' used to indicate if an item is an assembly or a component.

In this version of miniMrp we added a new option "Type". You still use the category to group your inventory but assemblies can now be 'any' category and it is the "Type" that indicates whether an item is an assembly or a component.

The type is selected using the drop-down list shown in the image below.



 

On the following pages we'll describe the difference between the types of assembly.

  • CSAS (Closed Sub Assembly)
