miniMrp 4 - Upgrade4to4
Upgrade (Any version 4 to any newer version 4

To upgrade any version v4 to any newer v4 (for example if you upgrade 4.1 to 4.2 or when upgrading 'Standard' to 'Enterprise'.

  • Make a backup of your current database using the backup tool of the older version of the software (ie before installing the new version)

  • Install the new version. (If networked/multiUser then install on all computers)

  • Start the new software and restore the backup you made previously (Using the Restore tool of the new software)

Note: If migrating the database up to SQL Server the restore process can only be completed using the sqlDbTools that you should have installed on the machine where your instance of SQL Server is running.
